Family and Medical Leave Act

What is the Family and Medical Leave Act?

A policy that allows eligible employees to take unpaid leave for certain family and medical reasons:

  • the birth or adoption of a child

  • caring for a family member with a serious health condition

  • employee's own serious health condition

Short Term Disability Claims:

  • To start a Short-Term Disability claim, please initiate the FMLA process. This process will start both your FMLA leave and Short-Term Disability claim if it applies.

Key Details:

  • Platform Launch Date: November 1st, 2024 

  • Registration: All employees must register on the platform to access FMLA services

​

How to Register:

  1. Visit the FMLA online Platform: CLICK HERE

  2. Click "Register"

  3. Enter your employee number and zip code

  4. Enter a username (must be at least 6 characters long and no spaces.  Example: joesmith2024) 

  5. Add a password
